This summer, the weightlifting platform witnessed an extraordinary run of form from three of our own home-grown stars — the Khan siblings: Wajih, Dua, and Sabih.
Competing in three major events in just over a month, these young athletes showed that discipline, confidence, and teamwork beat rest days every time. Their consistency and resilience smashed the old notion that lifters need long breaks between competitions.

Setting the Standard: Confidence and Quick Recovery
Competing only eight days apart between the first two events is no small feat — but the Khans rose to the challenge. Their ability to recover, refocus, and improve so rapidly shows the depth of their training and their love for the sport.
By the time Dua and Sabih reached Birmingham, their rhythm, discipline, and competitive fire were unstoppable. Both ended the summer standing on the top step of the podium as British Champions, a dream result for any young lifter.
