Ealing Weightlifting Club – Club Rules
At Ealing Weightlifting Club, we believe in fostering a disciplined, respectful, and supportive environment for all our athletes. To maintain this positive atmosphere, we have a few important rules that everyone must follow. These rules ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable training experience for all.
Club Golden Rules
1. Be Punctual
- Follow the timetable for your booking.
- You are welcome to arrive early and leave late if the next session is quiet or not busy.
- In non-coaching sessions, you will be following your training plan, and no coaching will be provided during that time.
- At weekends, we may have a group stretching session. Please respect the coach and be on time to fully participate.
2. Respectful Behavior
- Use appropriate language and behavior at all times.
- Be mindful of the language used in front of kids, ensuring it aligns with our Child Protection Policy.
- Treat everyone with kindness and professionalism, both inside and outside the gym.
3. Check Equipment
- Always check the equipment before use.
- If anything is damaged or doesn’t seem right, inform the head coach immediately so we can address it.
- After the session, please place all weights and bars back in their designated spots.
- Clean the chalk off the bar after use and keep the chalk dust inside the chalk box, avoiding it from falling onto the floor.
4. Promote the Club
- We encourage all members to actively promote the club.
- Share, like, and pass on our club news on social media to help generate publicity.
- The more attention we generate, the more potential lifters we can reach, and the better chance we have of making our club go viral.
5. Use Less Mobile Phones
- Focus on training and enjoy the company of your teammates.
- Support each other during sessions, as this is crucial for building team spirit.
- Refrain from using mobile phones during training unless it’s for club-related purposes.
6. Notify in Advance About Competitions
- If you would like to compete, please inform the head coach at least one month in advance so we can plan accordingly.
7. Stay Connected
- Stay involved by regularly checking the club’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
- These are great platforms to stay updated on events, news, and club activities.
These rules are in place to ensure the success and growth of our club, as well as to create a positive environment where everyone can thrive. We are all part of the same team, and together, we can make Ealing Weightlifting Club an even better place for all athletes.
