Ealing Weightlifting Club Competition Report**
Sunday, 16th November
Ealing Weightlifting Club took 6 lifters to the Southern Masters at Bethnal Green on Sunday, 16th November.
Unfortunately, due to last-minute timetable changes and poor scheduling, we lost 6 lifters who had registered weeks in advance. Half our team couldn’t compete — a major disappointment for everyone.
But the lifters who made it stepped onto the platform with focus, discipline, and Ealing pride.

The team ended the day by celebrating Nadia’s birthday and a great set of results at an Iranian restaurant.

Despite the setbacks, our athletes showed commitment, courage, and strong lifting from start to finish.
With a stable schedule, Ealing Weightlifting Club would have arrived with 12 athletes — the biggest team of the day.
